On January 27, 2024, the Society for the Protection of New Hampshire Forest hosted a tour of a timber harvesting operation on the Peirce Wildlife & Forest Reservation | Forest Society to show interested people what a properly done harvest looks like, the planning that is involved and how it actually helps the forest.
